First Impressions:
1- Yes, because he was imagining what he wanted to be, but that didn’t successes. Living more than one life as Walter Mitty did is a hard thing. People may get mad of this day-dream and fantasies.
Second Thoughts:
2- In his real life, he was silent, acting coolly, no careful and he didn't speak too much.
In his fantasies, he was active. He was trying to avoid disaster and he was a leader. He was proud of himself, good and intelligent pilot and an excellent doctor.
3- His wife was annoying for him, because she seems to him that she dint know what he is staring at. Other people like doctors didn’t trust him so much. People on the plan were thinking that he is mad, he is going to hell.
4- I think that he was hiding and running from the stressful world to his happiness fantasies. He was imaging the happy life far a way from real life people and communication.
5- Maybe because he needed to get out his power and energy. He wanted to feel proud about something strong he did.
6- I think that both are right, because Walter Mitty wasn’t happy. He needed to find his own best day-dream. On the other hand, that way was dangerous and it was hiding his responsibility and his personality.
Broader Connections:
7- My goals in life:
a- To be graduated from the university with great degree.
b- To be a famous singer and making an album.
c- To work on my job as an academic doctor or a good translator with good salary.
d- To get married of a good girl.
Thinking about my future aims, encourages me to do hard to get that quickly. The nicest dream for me is to be the famous singer. This let me sometimes sing, so I will be happy. Happiness is encouraging me to study and finish early. I love my major and for that I don't yield.
8- I don’t think it's easy to be fearless and brave in every case. You can be brave in your real life, because its normal and you used to face situations. On dreams you usually think about something hard to do in real life.
Literary Concept: Conflict
a- The internal conflict for Walter Mitty was between his fantasies and the real world. His dream was in a conflict case with the normal life.
b- I guess that internal conflict is more important, because the conflict inside the body is harder than outside. Walter Mitty was thinking in more than one side. The first side was his boring life with boring requests from the wife. The second one was interesting; it was his nice day-dream inside his eyes and heart.
